Dr. Son H. Kim is a Visiting Professor at KAIST GGGS and is on leave from the Joint Global Change Research Institute at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).

As a Senior Earth Scientist at PNNL, he has over 30 years of experience in developing and applying integrated assessment models that bridge human and Earth systems. He is the creator of the modeling architecture of the widely used Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM).

Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from MIT and focuses on analyzing energy systems and climate change using integrated assessment models.
